Error: 0x80040155, (-2147221163)

A balloon message appears saying: "Error filing email"

 

For more information about the error open the Mail Manager Dashboard e.g.

From the Windows Notification Area (bottom right-hand corner of the screen) select the Mail Manager icon and choose "Show dashboard..."

Select the Session Log tab

 

The following error appears:

 

Failed to file email:

Unknown Error.

 

Error: 0x80040155, (-2147221163)

Function: Arup::Mapi::MapiProp::copy

Context: CopyTo.

 

This error indicates that Mail Manager is unable to communicate with the Outlook's data source.

 

Ensure Outlook is configured to "Use Cached Exchange Mode" e.g.
