Mobile Apps for iOS and Android

The Mail Manager apps allow filing to locations hosted in Microsoft 365 e.g. SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, network folders are NOT supported.

 

Please note that this option is only available for subscription licence users.

 

Features include

  • List, read and file emails from your Microsoft 365 mailbox folders

  • Compose new emails

  • File multiple emails

  • Reply and forward emails with a prompt to file

  • Search for and open emails in your mailbox or filed in Microsoft 365

  • Reply to, or forward filed emails

  • Mark emails as read or unread

  • Choose your filing defaults

  • Set reminders to file recently read emails

 

Know limitations

  • Filing and searching network folders is NOT supported

  • Tablets are NOT supported

  1. Mobile phone (Minimum operating system)

    • iOS - 13.0 (released September 2019)

    • Android - 7.0 (released August 2016)

  2. Microsoft account type

    • Microsoft 365 Work or Microsoft 365 School

    • Personal accounts are not supported

  3. Email server

    • Microsoft Exchange Online

  4. Supported filing destinations

    • SharePoint Online

    • Microsoft Teams

    • OneDrive for Business

  5. Mail Manager for Windows

    • Version is 10.1 or above

    • Subscription licence (check your licence details via Help > About Mail Manager)

    • Share locations with mobile devices' enabled via User preference > Microsoft 365

    • The following apps need to be approved by your organisation (using a Microsoft 365 administrator) account to allow the app access the user's emails and SharePoint etc.

Approve now

  1. In Outlook on your Windows PC select Mail Manger Tools > User Preferences > Microsoft 365 and enable Share locations with mobile devices e.g.

  2. Download and install the Mail Manager app on your mobile:

  3. Open the app on your mobile

  4. When prompted sign-in using your Microsoft 365 credentials

  5. Review the inbuilt tutorials

  6. The app will then connect to your Microsoft 365 mailbox

  7. You will see a list of your emails, which you can read and file etc.
