Error: 0x4005, (16389)

Symptoms:

While using Outlook 2010 the following error window appears:

Context: Arup::DmLib::OasysMapi::CPostOffice::initialise

Cause:

Uninstalling a newer version of Outlook.

When this is the case, delete the following registry key of the newer version that was uninstalled:

Outlook 2013: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.5]

Outlook 2016: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.6]

Outlook 2019: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.7]

Resolution:

· Exit Outlook and via the Windows Task Manager and ensure that Outlook.exe and MailManager... .exe's are not running.

· Ensure that the application that created the key above has been uninstalled, if not delete the registry key manually.

· Repair the installation of Outlook 2010.

· Restart Outlook 2010
