When required Mail Manager can be run in "Verbose mode". When activated, it will record all Mail Manager actions into several files. To activate carry out the follow steps:
Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016 & 2019
| • | From the Mail Manager ribbon select the Status button and choose Diagnostics from the left hand list |
| • | Expand the Advanced section |
| • | Select the Enable Verbose Reporting Mode... button. You will be prompted to restart Outlook |
| • | When Outlook has been restarted and the problem replicated exit and restart Outlook. Do NOT close the additional windows that appear. |
| • | In the Reports section select the View/Send Diagnostics Report... button. This will automatically create a new email containing diagnostics information. |
| • | Add a description of the problem and the approximate time that the error occurred. |
| • | Exit and restart Outlook. |
| • | When prompted to enable verbose reporting mode choose No. |
Outlook 2007
| • | From the Windows Notification Area (bottom right-hand corner of the screen) select the Mail Manager icon and choose "Show Dashboard..." |
| • | Select Diagnostics from the left hand list |
| • | Expand the Advanced section |
| • | Select the Enable Verbose Reporting Mode... button. You will be prompted to restart Outlook |
| • | When Outlook has been restarted and the problem replicated exit and restart Outlook. Do NOT close the additional windows that appear. |
| • | In the Reports section select the View/Send Diagnostics Report... button. This will automatically create a new email containing diagnostics information. |
| • | Add a description of the problem and the approximate time that the error occurred. |
