Drag & drop to file is used with mobile devices e.g. phones and tablets and also Outlook Web Access, although Outlook is still required to file the messages i.e. When the Drop folder are synchronised back on the PC they will be filed by Mail Manager.

 

To ensure you can still access your filed emails on your mobile device, choose the option to move to 'Filed Items' after filing.
