Microsoft 365 App Approvals

Certain Mail Manager features (apps) require user and or administrator approval to work.

Approval of individual Mail Manager apps can be granted via your Azure Active Directory admin center portal.

Note: Approval can be pre consented for all or some users via the Azure AD portal.

Mail Manager apps that require approval:

Mail Manager Desktop

Required for SharePoint auto discovered locations, Mail Manager Mobile Apps and Mail Manager Web Add-in.

Allows Mail Manager to discover SharePoint filing locations and read/write filing locations for use with mobile devices.

 

Mail Manager Mobile Apps

Allows the Mail Manager app for iOS or Android read/write access to the user's mailbox and to upload emails to SharePoint, including email metadata.

 

Mail Manager Web Add-In

Allows the Mail Manager Outlook Web Add-in read/write access to the user's mailbox and to upload emails to SharePoint, including email metadata.

 

Mail Manager Teams Discovery

Allows Mail Manager to discover the users' membership of Microsoft Teams and optionally create filing location folders.

 

Mail Manager EWS

Allows Mail Manager to batch file from Exchange Online public folders.

 

Mail Manager MIP

Allows authorised users to search for filed emails protected by Microsoft Information Protection.
